Raising a high school senior is a significant achievement – Huzzah! Hats off to Mom and Dad!
If you're considering booking a senior photoshoot for your teenager, here are a few ways to help them get photo-ready:
Encourage Your Child
Let your high school senior know how amazing they are, and this will boost their confidence. Kids love hearing that their parents are proud of them, and encouragement works wonders. During the photoshoot, you can also help by giving them direction, suggesting poses, assisting with wardrobe changes, and being their personal cheerleader.
Ensure Beauty Sleep
If only sleep could be bottled up, right? Beauty sleep can make a significant difference on photoshoot day. It makes you feel better in general, gives your skin a healthy glow, energizes you for a fun challenge, and boosts your stamina. The night before the photoshoot, ensure everyone gets a restful 8 hours of sleep.
Go Shopping
Ladies, you'll love this one! Moms, take your teenager shopping to find a fresh, new outfit that fits their style and looks great on them for the photoshoot. Seniors should choose clothes that fit well, are comfortable to move and pose in, and preferably in solid colors. Enjoy the shopping experience!
Book Beauty Appointments
If your senior wants their hair professionally styled or makeup done, help them book the appointments. Ensure that the chosen hairstyle can withstand potential humidity (especially if you live in NC) and lots of movement. The makeup should look great in natural sunlight, not just indoor lighting.
Enjoy the Photoshoot Day with Them
This is a milestone year not only for high school seniors but also for parents. During the fun photoshoot tailored to your child, make memories together. You can be as involved as you wish, assisting or simply being there to share this experience with your child throughout the years.
Are you ready to have some fun and create lasting memories? Let's get started!
