Photography is more than a career to me; it is also one of my main passions in life. 

I am always looking up the latest photography trends and expanding my repertoire. When my high school senior clients come to me, I always strive to give them the best of my expertise in their milestone photoshoot. 

There is a lot that I can do for them to ensure that they look their best. The following ideas will hopefully provide you with some inspiration for your next photo adventure.

1. Plastic Wrap

All you have to do is place a bit of plastic wrap on top of the camera lens edges to capture a soft image. Sounds strange? It can be. But if you are wanting to try a new artistic effect, it can provide some of the extra creativity that you may be searching for. 

You may have come across TikTok videos showcasing how to use plastic wrap to capture some creative pictures. Try it for yourself and have some fun.  

2. CD / DVD Reflections

To try out this photoshoot idea, you just have to place the mirrored side of a CD or DVD near your phone’s camera at a perpendicular angle to the lens. This will give a unique reflection to your images that will keep your friends guessing on how you made the effect.

3. Need A Macro Lens, But Don’t Have One?

Have a smart phone with a camera? Of course you do. What you may not realize is that you can do macro photography without adding any extra equipment. Say What!

Macro photography is close up photography with fine detail in your subject. Flowers are a great thing to use as your subject in macro photography.

Here is how you do it … you can take a water drop, gently put it on your camera’s phone lens, and then voila! You now have a macro lens. Give it a try!
